NCCT / EKG

This certification is administered by the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT.) ECG (also known as EKG) (Electrocardiogram) Technicians perform ECG tests that record and monitor electrical impulses transmitted by the heart. The ECG aids the physician in diagnosis & treatment of cardiac and blood vessel irregularities. The ECG Technician examination content areas include medical terminology, anatomy & physiology, rhythm, and basic interpretation. Source: NCCT
