Nursing Homes

Nursing homes are residential facilities for people with chronic illnesses or disabilities. Often these are older people with mobility and/or eating problems, but can also include younger adults with mental or physical disabilities. A Skilled Nursing Facility is designed for adults who need physical, occupational and other rehabilitative work following an accident or illness. Services provided in nursing homes often include those of nurses, nursing aides, physical, occupational and speech therapists, social workers, etc.
