Salons can be sub-divided into a number of categories. Hair salons typically cut, color and style hair. Beauty salons will do all that, plus offer skin care, facials, and nails. Spas often add even more services such as a variety of massage modalities, body treatments, aroma therapy, mud baths, exercise classes and more. Many spas also sell retail products appropriate to the services they offer.
