Madison Munro Is Our New Editor!

StaffFebruary 2021

MadisonMadison joined the Consult PR team in 2018 as a Content Specialist and was quickly promoted to Senior Content specialist due to her unique skill set and leadership abilities. More recently, she was appointed Editor of the Content Team.

In describing her journey at Consult PR, Madison said it has definitely been a roller coaster. Madison described her first few weeks at Consult PR as ‘very challenging’. However, thanks to Consult PR’s leaders and mentors things quickly got better. She believes that Consult PR is more like a family than a company. Everyone looks out for each other across departments.

Now that she’s the Editor and a part of the leadership team, it’s all about progress. She’s expected to improve her game not only for herself but for those she is responsible for overseeing. She looks forward to those challenges and working closely with the more experienced leaders in the firm as well as the other members of the Content team.

Some of her main goals as Editor include helping to develop the unique writing styles of each of the Content Specialists, managing the task loads and client allocations, and developing the team both personally and professionally. Madison takes over the Editor position from Mark Ramotar, who she said has left very big shoes for her to fill. Mark was an integral part of taking the Content Team from its infancy and developing it into the department it is today. Madison said that she has her work cut out for her but she believes that the future is bright.

Madison is not only a full-time Editor, but she’s also a full-time mother and wife. She enjoys spending time with her son Myles and her husband Leon, going on picnics, and walks along the ocean. On her days off she cleans, runs errands. Having a family has definitely changed her lifestyle. She enjoys binge-watching youtube videos specifically TED talks, and she’s currently rewatching the British drama series Peaky Blinders and learning to play chess!

“Some time ago we didn’t even have a dedicated and separate Content department. I do believe it’s all about progress and growth. CPR is constantly evolving and so many things have changed in a positive way.” - Madison.

She’s happy to be a part of the company and its progress and hopes that she’ll continue learning and ‘upping’ her game as a leader. The family vibe, the way we communicate, and being able to learn something new almost every day are some of the things she enjoys most about CPR.

The Consult PR family extends congratulations to Madison on this promotion and we look forward to seeing great things from her.
